Vanessa Hudgens: Halloween Horror Nights with Ashley Tisdale!

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale visit the Halloween Horror Nights attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood with a group of gal pals on Saturday (October 27) in Universal City, Calif.

The ladies were joined by Vanessa‘s younger sister Stella, Ashley‘s sister Jennifer, Samantha Droke, and Kim Hidalgo.

“Off to Halloween horror nights with @kimhidalgo @sammyrayedroke @stellanicole @mikaylas_mom and Nessa :)” Ashley tweeted of the night’s activities.

Earlier in the day, Nessa and Stella grabbed a bit to eat at the Sun Cafe in Studio City.

What You Need

pkg.  (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

pkg.  (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/4
cup  (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1
tsp.  vanilla
8
drops  green food coloring
1
pkg.  (16 oz.) powdered sugar, sifted (4 to 4-1/2 cups)

tube  (0.75 oz.) black decorating gel
12
 OREO Cookies, divided
3
 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
4
pieces  black string licorice (2 inches each)

Make It

PREPARE cake batter as directed on package. Add dry pudding mix; mix well. Spoon evenly into 24 paper-lined medium muffin cups. Bake as directed on package for cupcakes. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

BEAT cream cheese, butter, vanilla and food coloring in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.

ARRANGE cupcakes on large serving platter or tray to resemble a witch's head as shown in diagram. Spread with frosting. Use decorating gel to outline the mouth and hat on the cupcakes. Finely crush 11 of the cookies; sprinkle inside mouth and hat. Cut remaining cookie crosswise in half; place on cupcakes for eyes. Place marshmallows in mouth for teeth. Arrange licorice to resemble eyebrows and nose. Store in refrigerator.
